per depositor through December 31, 2009.
The FDIC Transaction Account Guarantee Program is a separate program which does not involve FDIC Deposit Insurance.
"Marshall County State Bank of Newfolden has chosen not to participate in the FDIC's Transaction Account Guarantee Program. Customers of Marshall County State Bank of Newfolden with non interest-bearing transaction accounts will continue to be insured through December 31, 2009, for up to $250,000.00 under the FDIC's general deposit insurance rules."
